Letterpress Printing
Letterpress printing is a technique of relief printing using a printing press, a process by which many copies are produced by repeated direct impressions of an inked, raised surface against sheets or a continuous roll of paper. In theory, anything that is “type high” or .918 inches can be printed using the letterpress process.

“Circles”
The poster titled “Circles” is crafted using a modular grid system (6” x 6”) and incorporates wood type (36 pts.) alongside small images ranging in size from 1” x 1” to 1” x 3”. The design features a prominent royal blue numeral “8” as its focal point, complemented by smaller images rendered in hot red, yellow, and black.
This project was executed using a traditional printing press, with each element meticulously printed in layers, progressing from darker to lighter colors. All design components, including type and imagery, are composed of wooden and metal materials. The “Circles” poster exemplifies a dynamic and engaging design process, blending precision and creativity through a hands-on printmaking approach.
