Book Cover Series: JOY

These three books share a common theme: the pursuit of happiness. Together, they form a cohesive narrative exploring the question of how to achieve happiness and offering thoughtful solutions.

The first book, How to Be Happy?” introduces the topic by addressing the challenges of finding happiness and providing actionable strategies to overcome them.

The second book, The Power of No! presents one powerful answer to the question, emphasizing the importance of setting boundaries and learning to say "no" in specific situations to protect one’s well-being and happiness.

The third book, Joyful: The Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness”, offers another perspective, focusing on how small, often-overlooked aspects of our environment can spark profound joy.

Book 1: How to be happy?

The design concept for How to Be Happy?” draws inspiration from the book’s themes of positivity, freedom, and joy. The central element, a happy face emoji, is divided into four puzzle pieces, symbolizing the journey to finding happiness. Three pieces are featured on the front cover, while the fourth one is on the back, inviting readers to “complete the puzzle” and reinforcing the book's message that happiness is something to discover and piece together. Bright, cheerful colors evoke positive emotions, while free form shapes represent freedom and natural joy. The design encapsulates the book's essence, visually expressing the idea of finding and embracing happiness.

Book 2: The Power of No!

The design sketches for The Power of No!” reflect the book’s exploration of the importance of saying "no" to achieve genuine happiness. The design features an image of a happy face emoji overlaying a sad face emoji, symbolizing how people often pretend to be happy while concealing their true emotions. This visual concept of "peeling off" the happy face to reveal the sadness underneath aligns with the book’s message about the transformative power of setting boundaries and prioritizing one’s well-being. The design underscores the idea that true happiness comes from authenticity and the courage to say "no" when necessary.

Book 3: JOYFUL

The design sketches for “Joyful” are inspired by the book’s focus on evoking happiness and positivity. To align with the title, the design incorporates playful typography, replacing the “O” in “Joyful” with a scanned happy face emoji to emphasize the theme of joy. Additional elements, such as organic, irregular shapes, represent freedom, while a vibrant and cheerful color palette enhances the overall sense of positivity and delight. The design aims to visually convey the essence of the book, creating a joyful and uplifting experience for the audience.
